This long standing dive-bar Pub occupies a quiet part of the Mission @19th & Folsom, but its well worth an extra couple of block's walk to get off the 16/17th & Mission/Valencia corridor. Titch, the owner has been here for ages, and drinks are cheap, and generally easy to get. Pretty good seating, including a backroom. No frills, but an unenviable collection of Welsh memrobilia, including a pair of Tom Jones underpants and plaques listing all the Welsh who died in the Spanish Civil War. Yep, its a leftwing bar. If you even *think* about voting republican you wont be welcome... Unless you support a Welsh soccer/rugby team or ride a Scooter.
Disclaimer. I am Welsh, and this is not a "welsh" pub in the sense you'd find one in Wales. But its Welsh in the sense that there's a 30 ft Wlesh flag hanging behind the bar, and a reprint of the train station sign of the longest place name in Britain.
